Do you know what my cat did? You don't, so I'll tell you. I've never heard of a cat doing this before, but if any of you can commiserate, I would appreciate it.
That's two separate pieces! And lest you think I just left my cable laying around, may I point out that I was actively using it! My computer screen went black and clued me in to a problem. And there's Jack, just happily chewing on a live wire. Why didn't he get shocked? (not that I wanted him to, but from a physics standpoint, I don't understand!)
My Aunt has cats that do that- I hope our Sam does not try it...
ReplyDeleteOh dear, that's horrible! I wonder... maybe electric wires aren't as dangerous as we've been led to believe! ;D
ReplyDeleteSorry for you :(
ReplyDeleteNaughty Kitty!
chuckling
ReplyDeleteMy grandparents had a dog stop eating...couldn't figure out why...took her to the vet who looked in her mouth and her whole mouth was burned. Told grandparents to go home and look for chewed through electric wires. Problem solved :)
Too funny!!
Poor puppy! Aww...
DeletePhil says, "Maybe the cat wasn't grounded, & the electricity had nowhere to go. Electricity has to have more potential to go through the cat to ground than to stay in the wire in order to shock the cat." Hm....I don't think I understand, but I'm just gonna agree, "Yeah, what my he said."
ReplyDelete*blinks* *again* *nodding*
DeleteYep.
I caught about half of that.
:D
Electricity is one of those things I thank God and the men in my life for, 'cause its over my head :)
Definitely was about to write "what my husband said" & changed it to "what he said", but forgot to delete the "my". Awesome!
ReplyDeleteI did use to have a cat that would stand on the top of my bunk bed, and chew down the fishing line that hung the set of glow-in-the-dark planets from the roof. Never could figure out why she hated Pluto so much.....
ReplyDeleteI know why she hated Pluto....or wait, that was Plato wasn't it..... :)
DeleteI sense an inside joke....
